Animal Portraits
In animal portraits, I look for presence.
What interests me is not only the appearance of an animal, but the moment where a look, posture or small gesture seems to reveal something of its character. Sometimes the image is quiet and intimate; sometimes it is shaped by strength, tension or curiosity.
These portraits are my attempt to come closer without disturbing. To observe patiently, to wait for connection, and to let the animal hold the frame in its own way.
