Route 66
Route 66 is a road shaped by distance, memory and imagination.
Travelling through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California, I was drawn to the visual language of the American road: faded signs, empty stretches of asphalt, vintage motels, desert towns and colours made stronger by the light. Many places along the way feel suspended between past and present — still standing, still speaking, but quietly marked by time.
These photographs are my personal impression of that journey. Not a complete portrait of Route 66, but a collection of moments, details and encounters that reflect the nostalgia, silence and strange beauty of being on the road.
