Street in Black&White

Street in Black & White reflects my search for light, form and human presence within the urban environment.

Without colour, the city becomes more graphic. Lines, shadows, textures and architectural patterns come forward, while people often appear as anonymous figures moving through the frame. They may be small, distant or partly hidden, but their presence gives the image scale, tension and a sense of life.

These photographs are quiet observations of the city — reduced to contrast, rhythm and the fleeting moment where abstraction and humanity meet.
