The Nete River

The Nete River is a place I return to for its quiet rhythm.

Along its banks, the landscape changes slowly: water, trees, reeds, open fields and traces of weather all come together in a calm and understated way. I am drawn to the softness of the light here, especially when mist, clouds or reflections give the river a more silent and timeless presence.

These photographs are less about the river as a geographical place, and more about the feeling it leaves behind. A sense of stillness, closeness and quiet observation — nature unfolding at its own pace.
